Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah
I am one step towards my dream. InshaAllah. All left is the final result and
the only thing that I can do right now is PRAY as the rest is left for Allah.
So, DS240 Sarjana Pembedahan Pergigian (UiTM) was my first choice and Alhamdulillah I was called for the IV. SubhanaAllah, that indescribable feeling *rainbow.
Even though it is yet to be confirmed that i will be the students of UiTM in dental surgery, here, I just want to share my experience that might can help anyone out there who is going to the same IV as mine.

My IV was held at UiTM Merbok as i am in the North zon. Me, my parents and my lil sis arrived at 8-something-ish a.m. as the IV started at 8.30 a.m. There were not many people as I expected because I think there were only like 25 candidates kot.
For this IV, we have to go through 4 phases which the first one is the Personality Test, then the Origami Test, Blind Test and finally the Interview.
Ohh by the way, I was the second candidate because they arrange us according to our name *the alphabet and thank God
As for the personality test, you just have to answer 'agree' or 'disagree' to the statement given. Nothing much actually. This is to figure out either you have that 'dentist personality' or not.
For the origami test, nahh this one is new because from what i had read from other's blogs, you will have to do wire bending but for this time, they change it to the origami test. So, they gave us 5 small piece of colourful paper (I repeat; SMALL),then we had to fold it into pigeon *babypigeonprecisely under 5 mins but no worries because they did gave us the tutorial on how to make a pigeon.

Moving on, we did the blind test which took like 1 min only. Sat jaa.
Finally, *drum rolls the interview. Alhamdulillah my interviewer were two nice, sporting and good looking dentist. They did asked tons of question regarding almost everything ;current issue, dentist world and so on.
Some of the questions were :
Tell us about yourself in 2 min
Do you know any hot issue right know?
Do you know vaccination?
What are the career in dentistry?
What do you know about dentistry?
What are your fav subject?
Have you ever work in team?
Why do you choose UiTM?
Why UiTM should take you as our student?
Do you consider yourself as a creative person?
etc
actually there were more questions and some of the Q related to ourself.
Above all, you just need to be CONFIDENT!
Yes, no matter what kind of question it is, just be confident but still, you need to know the current issue and any terms that related to dentistry.

ReplyDeleteWaalaikumussalam hai awak. Maaf ya saya reply lambat. Ya, saya letak uitm as first choice dan the only dental course yang saya letak. Second choice dan yang lain-lain semuanya adalah course yg berlainan. Kalau tak salah saya, ada bebrapa kawan-kawan saya yang letak uitm as second choice dan dapat tawaran tapi mostly ramai yang letak as first choice.

Deletehai nak tanya, ada ke ur batch yang origami dia mcm tak jadi buat but still ada rupa so dia dapat masuk dentistry tu? or kalau tak berjaya buat origami tu mmg langsung tkde harapan :(
ReplyDeleteHai there. Saya rasa ada je yang origami tak jadi atau tak sempat siap in my batch. Nak dapat qualification into dental school bukan 100% bergantung kepada origami fold tu. Basically ambil kira semua sudut. Kalau origami tak jadi but you have high mark during iv or exam, then insyaAllah masih ada peluang. so don't lose hope okay!
Deletehye sis, is it possible kalau letak uitm second choice nak masuk sebab i got 3.67 cgpa, muet band 4 and baru lepas iv but first choice dh tk dpt uv so really put high hopes nk, masuk uitm :)
